I pretty well know that it’s hard for some people to go to the gym on a regular basis. Mostly because they have no time to spare in their busy life schedule, I usually spend my evenings listening to my boyfriend saying how hard it is for him to incorporate a gym schedule to his routine when he works on a shift basis. Hence, here are some fun ways to stay fit without forcing yourself to workout (no gym)

Take a walk with your pet 

2 out of 3 people have a pet dog or cat. Isn’t it? Take your pet out for a walk in the garden or the park nearby. The dog or cat would be so happy and also it would help with your BMI level as well. Just try to add this fun time with your pet, and that would lead a positive change in your life.

Dance to your Favourite Music 

This one is right out of my life actually, as I mentioned in the initial paragraph, my boyfriend has so little time for himself to actually workout at a gym. We both love to dance, hence we decided to take dance lessons on youtube (so that there is no rigid schedule). If you love dancing, there is no need for me to persuade you to take the dance class as you know how much fun and relaxing it is. Just pick a favourite song everyday and dance your way through it. This could be the best and fun way to stay fit with no gym membership.

Participate in competitive sports matches with your friends

Young boys and girls I know love to play football, basketball, rugby and what not. My friends, once in a while (2 or 3 times a week) rent a turf to play football and that seems to put them in a good mood and helps them in managing their weight and staying fit with no gym routines. I recommend you too, to take some time off your day and play some sports or games with your friends. I guarantee you that you would have more fun staying fit like that than going to gym alone at odd hours of the day.

Take a couple’s dance class with your partner

I know, this one is tricky as not everyone loves to take a class on a particular form of dance. Yet let me assure you that you would have so much fun dancing with your partner and staying fit at the same time. These are also some romantic things you could do in order to acquire a real bond between the couple. Don’t wait, book your sample dance class now.

Go for an evening stroll by the beach 

Taking an evening walk by the beach is the most relaxing and fun way to stay fit without going to the gym. Walk on that beach with your partner and maybe share a sweet and intimate moment with them. Or even you can take your pets to roll around through the sand with you. End your stressful day with the most happiest workout sessions.

Go for an evening swim in the pool with friends and family

Even if you don’t have a swimming pool at your home, there are places you can go with your family, friends or partner to swim around and have a blissful evening. Taking several laps of swimming through the pool would be exhausting and also fun when you have some company. This is one of my favourite fun ways to stay fit with no dreadful gym routines.  

There is nothing more refreshing than an early morning hike 

Isn’t that right? Wake up a little early, grab your hiking shoes and set on your hiking path with a friend or even alone. I, myself, love to hike alone as that’s the time when I can wander around with my thoughts through nature. That’s mostly when I realise that true happiness is always within and if we choose to be happy, we would be. 

Ride a bicycle to work or supermarket is a fun way to stay fit

Riding a bicycle to work can be challenging and exhausting, I know. You could try cycling to your nearest supermarket or to your friend’s house once in a while. After you get the hang of it, I am pretty sure that you would choose to ride your bike anywhere and everywhere. 

Always always take the stairs if you have a choice 

I have always been a big time stairs person, as I am extremely claustrophobic. This little habit of mine has helped me stay fit throughout my highschool life as my school was 6 stories high. I would climb the whole 12 flights of stairs to reach my class, that’s on the 6th floor. You could try taking stairs at your office or even at your apartment building. It’s not even that time consuming if you think about it. 

Coach children for their favourite sports or games.

I know I know. Not everyone has children to coach. What i intend to say is play around the park with children. Maybe your nieces or nephews or even neighbours. Children love to run around a lot and this could help you with your weight loss and staying fit. If you are good at some sports, coach children for free after work hours as this could be both fun and exercising at the same time.
